Research on Garbage Sorting Control System Based on Openmv Visual Module
To improve garbage classification, this study proposes a sorting control systemthat integrates the OpenMV visual module for image recognition, along with sensor and control technologies. The system categorizes waste into recyclables, kitchen waste, hazardous waste, and other waste, depositing them into designated bins. It employs an Altera Cyclone IV EP4CE6E22C8 chip as the controller, which processes data from the OpenMV module and multiple photoelectric switches to detect waste conditions. Based on the feedback, the controller issues corresponding commands to sort and deposit the waste accordingly. Additionally, an embedded LCD on the bins displays the fill level status.
