Magnetically bistable Co( <scp>ii</scp> ) and Fe( <scp>ii</scp> ) complexes featuring pentyl-decorated pyridyl-benzimidazole ligands: role of isomerism and chirality
Three bidentate pyridyl-benzimidazole ligands were employed in the synthesis of cobalt( ii ) single-molecule magnets and iron( ii ) spin-crossover complexes, aiming to study the influence of enantiomeric and positional isomerism on magnetic bistability.
