KACHEXIA IN DIABETES MELLITUS. CLINICAL CASE

The pathogenesis of weight loss and kachexia in diabetes mellitus is presented as anexample of secondary pathology. A clinical case of diabetic neuropathic kachexiasyndrome is given.Conclusions. The above observation has shown that DNA can develop during prolongeddecompensation of diabetes mellitus(the phenomenon of glucose toxicity). Compensationof metabolic disordersis one of the main conditions for the prevention of the developmentand progression of diabetes complications, including DNA.
