Transformar el Derecho para Construir Paz en México: Claves para una Justicia Estructural en el Contexto Iberoamericano
This article aimed to critically reflect on the role of law in Mexico in building peace. The human rights legal framework was analyzed from an interdisciplinary perspective, highlighting its dual function as both a reproducer of inequality and a potential tool for transformation. Drawing on various theoretical and critical approaches, concepts such as positive peace, restorative justice, intersectionality, and emerging rights were reviewed in order to identify the limitations of the current legal model and to propose principles for a more humane and participatory legal architecture. The analysis led to the conclusion that law, far from being neutral, must be redefined as a living instrument that articulates memory, social justice, and collective dignity.
