Repair of migration and excessive kinking of the Viabahn stent graft with Supera stent relining in the popliteal artery aneurysm
The leading endovascular treatment method of popliteal artery aneurysm is deployment of a stent graft within the lumen of the popliteal artery. Potential complications encompass incomplete exclusion of the aneurysm from circulation, stent graft migration, collapse, and fracture of the stent graft. The following case report presents case of repair of migration and excessive kinking of the Viabahn stent graft in the popliteal artery aneurysm. Repair consisted of initial repositioning of the stent graft, followed by the implantation of two additional stent grafts and relining with a Supera stent. This technique seems to be feasible and safe method in the repair of extreme kinking of Viabahn stent graft.
