Therapeutic approaches and complications in the treatment of precancerous changes of the cervix

Cervical cancer is one of the leading socially significant diseases among the female population, classified as the second most common cause of morbidity and mortality in women worldwide. Timely detection and treatment of precancerous changes of the cervix will help reduce these rates and is also one of the main mechanisms for addressing this public health problem. This article presents and analyzes the therapeutic approaches and their complications in the treatment of precancerous changes of the cervix in Bulgaria.
