<i>In situ</i> constructed oxygen vacancy-rich Bi 2 O 2 CO 3 nanosheets derived from BiOI for efficient electrochemical CO 2 reduction to formate
We reported an ultrathin Bi 2 O 2 CO 3 nanosheet with abundant oxygen vacancies (denoted as BOC R ) from the defective BiOI precursor via an in situ electrochemical anion-exchange strategy for enhanced electroreduction of CO 2 to formate.
