Data-driven investment in 2023: venture capital dynamics
This paper explores venture capital dynamics in 2023, focusing on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Fintech, and Cybersecurity—industries heavily influenced by big data and computing technologies. Titled “Data-Driven Investment in 2023: Venture Capital Dynamics”, the study examines how efficiently these sectors convert funding into market value, adjusting for industry-specific risks using beta values. Key findings indicate that sectors like Cybersecurity and Enterprise Software excel in translating venture capital into valuation, while AI experiences higher volatility despite substantial funding. It incorporates risk-adjusted performance to highlight which industries best perform to leverage data-driven investments for sustainable growth. This study provides a valuable framework for investors, balancing valuation potential with market risk, and offers insights for data-driven industries.
