Germinação de sementes de ipê amarelo (Tabebuia aurea – Bignoniaceae) em função do substrato e da temperatura

External factors have been studied to allow for more homogeneous, rapid and complete germination in seed analysis of each species. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate different temperatures and substrates and their interaction, to determine the most suitable ones for use in the standard germination test of Tabebuia aurea seeds. The substrates tested were: sand, paper and vermiculite and sowing between and on these, plus temperatures of 25; 30; 20-30 and 20-35°C. The parameters used were germination and IVG. The best results for germination speed were obtained at temperatures of 25 and 30°C and substrates between sand and between vermiculite.
