ADOLESCÊNCIA E IMAGEM CORPORAL: UMA ARTICULAÇÃO A PARTIR DO CONCEITO DE NARCISISMO
This work seeks to investigate the adolescent’s process in conjunction with concepts of narcissism and body image based on the psychoanalytic framework. Adolescence is considered a period marked by psychic changes, bodily and in the way of relating with parental figures. In contemporary times, adolescence is constituted as a cultural ideal along with the body that assumes a central value in our society. For its construction, a qualitative exploratory-descriptive research method was used, based on a bibliographical review of works published on the Scielo (Scientific Electronic Library Online), Pepsic (Electronic Periods in Psychology) and BDTD (Brazilian Digital Library of Psychology) platforms. Theses and Dissertations). It is concluded that the whole process of psychic constitution, as well as narcissism, assumes a fundamental role in the elaboration that the subject performs of his own image, which is equivalent to saying that the events that occur during puberty modify the relationship that the adolescent establishes with the image he has of himself.
