Schrödinger equation in light of symmetrical special relativity
We show the solution of the Schrödinger equation modified by Symmetrical Special Relativity (SSR) for a free particle inside a box. So, based on an invariant minimum speed postulated by SSR, the spectrum of energy [Formula: see text] is corrected so that the quantum number [Formula: see text] is naturally prevented, since there emerges a background energy related to the minimum speed. Therefore, as the particle cannot be at rest inside the box due to the minimum speed V, we must have [Formula: see text]. This is in accordance to the uncertainty principle that states the existence of a zero-point energy. Thus we find that the modified Schrödinger equation for lower energies is consistent with the uncertainty principle so that such principle emerges naturally from the new wave equation in space–time of SSR.
