Health Automation with Supply Chain Management using IoT and Blockchain for Pharmaceutical Industry: A Scoping Review

This study examines the influence of various digital technologies on the pharmaceutical supply chain through a systematic review. Technologies such as blockchain and the Internet of Things (IoT) and their ability to improve the efficiency and security of pharmaceutical logistics processes are analyzed. The methodology includes the collection and analysis of 34 articles selected from an initial sample of 849, using specific inclusion and exclusion criteria. The findings highlight that, although these technologies present significant benefits, their implementation must be careful and patient-centered to maximize their positive impact. The findings highlight the need for further research to overcome current barriers and optimize technology adoption in the pharmaceutical industry.
