Cybersecurity Vulnerabilities in Medical Devices

We cannot ignore the modern technology in modern era. Now-a-days all the healthcare systems are connected to one or more cyber-based-network and are at vulnerable to cyber-attack due to multiple cybersecurity lacuna in the existing computer-level-based networks. It will be most critical to understand the complication of the operational environments as well as a catalog that will be a technical-based vulnerability in order to avert cyber-security incidents. Cybersecurity-level-based protection is a more complex process and well-nuanced challenge it could be to handle or tackle than merely a technological-based issue. Understanding why these vulnerabilities continue and what the arrangement space ought to see like requires a thought of the factors that will be leads to such a possibly hazardous environment, as well as the distinguishing proof of the vulnerabilities. If needed appropriate protection is to be put in place and patient safety concerns should be addressed, this multidimensional challenge must be considered from a systemic viewpoint. Governance, Technical controls, unified reporting, resilience measures, context knowledge, standards, and legislation are all required to achieve this. It is clear that addressing this complicated problem requires a proactive strategy, coordinated without jeopardizing the patient safety.
