Forgery in the Digital Age: A Survey on Deepfake Image Generation and Detection Methods
In the modern digital world, digital images are a primary medium for conversation and information exchange over various domains, including media platforms, forensic laboratories, health sciences, and judiciaries. However, the fast growth and approachability of digital art applications have made digital image modification remarkably smooth, bringing up issues about the genuineness of digital images, especially in the field where precision and veracity are crucial. This study reviews several image forgery techniques, with a special focus on deepfake technology. It highlights the key components, the dataset used for training and validation, and accuracy.
