Dual-Beamform Design for RadCom Frequency Diversity Array by Transmitting Sharing Signals
Aiming at the problem that the integrated system of transmitting signal sharing mechanism is difficult to maximize the performance of radar and communication at the same time, and it is difficult to cover radar target and communication party at the same time when the airspace is separated, a dual beamform design method based on frequency diversity array is thus proposed. For frequency diversity array mechanism, when the frequency offset is zero, the signal energy is concentrated on the main beamform direction line, forming the energy focusing effect for radar target remote detection; when the frequency offset is non-zero, the spatial beamform is in the form of sinc function, which can effectively meet both spatial and energy coverage for multiple communication parties at the same time. On this basis, an optimized dual beamform signal coding scheme is proposed and the solution method is given. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by numerical simulation, which plays an important role for the practical application of RadCom integrated system.
