Smart IoT Air Pollution Monitoring System
Air pollution is not a silent killer—it is a roaring epidemic choking millions of lives each year. Urban centers are battlegrounds where toxic gases and harmful particles dominate the air, threatening health, productivity, and the environment. Despite alarming statistics, current monitoring systems fail to address the dynamic and localized nature of air pollution. This paper introduces an Automated Air Pollution Monitoring and Logging System built around the ESP32 microcontroller and integrated with cutting-edge sensors for particulate matter and harmful gases. By leveraging Blynk IoT integration and solar power, the system provides real-time, precise, and scalable monitoring, empowering individuals, communities, and policymakers to confront air pollution aggressively. Rigorous testing validates the system’s effectiveness, exposing pollution hotspots and the inadequacy of existing solutions.
