Design of a Miniaturized X-band Wideband Band-Stop Frequency Selective Surface
At present, high power microwave technology is rapidly advancing and gradually entering the stage of weaponization deployment, which poses a severe challenge to the survivability of radar antennas and other equipment in the complex electromagnetic environment of the battlefield. In this paper, according to the application scenario and protection requirement of GPS, a miniaturized X-band wide-band band-stop frequency selective surface is designed. The frequency selective surface unit is composed of Jerusalem cross and hexagon element. The results show that the transmission coefficient is greater than −2.79 dB below 2.5 GHz, and the transmission coefficient is less than −30 dB from 9.5 GHz to 10.5 GHz. Furthermore, the frequency selective showcase excellent angular stability and polarization stability.
