Enhancing Energy Efficiency Through Digital Transformation and Cyber-Physical Systems in Smart Buildings

Environmental demands have increased the secure utilization of energy resources, and smart buildings are emerging. These buildings use advanced technologies such as digital transformation, cyber-physical systems, and energy consumption. Digital transformation technologies include integrated digital technologies, such as sensors, data analytics and artificial intelligence, which allow building operations to be monitored and optimized continuously. Remember that adjusting assets in building systems and operations is based on real-time data collection and information analysis and allows for efficiency and energy savings on a scalable level. With the supporting concept of cyber-physical systems, which suggests a practical co-existence between physical systems and cyber environments, physical components can be interfaced in the energy management process, thus leading to the possibility of an understandable integration and harvesting in future demand response-enabled smart buildings. This helps the energy management process quickly and reduces energy loss due to mishandling. Intelligent buildings deliver several other benefits, including increased occupant comfort, excellent building safety and lower operating costs beyond energy savings by applying digital transformation and cyber-physical systems..
