Automated Identification of Brain Disorders Utilizing Electroencephalogram Signals and Advanced Deep Learning Methodologies:A Review

This study offers an explanation of how electroencephalography (EEG) has advanced throughout the last five years and in what manner it has been used to identify and judge numerous neurological diseases. It also reveals the utilization of EEG to detect brain damage, cognitive function, movement disorders, sleep disorders, and epilepsy. The use of EEG is always crucial for diagnosing seizures, cataloging seizures, and finding epileptogenic zones. Merging the wellknown technique of machine learning with high density EEG equipment is a new trend advancement in this field. Considering sleep disorders, a scholar work of sleep architecture using EEGs is capable of detecting peculiar forms indicative of conditions such as narcolepsy or sleep apnea. It can also be used to monitor the efficiency of therapy. Parkinson’s and Huntington’s diseases, and other syndromes disturbing brain stem or basal ganglia, influence the cortex. Scholars can grasp the pathogenesis of these syndromes more efficiently by additional knowledge of the cortical damage they cause. Apart from the above, the growth of measurables biomarkers for the early recognition and tracking of worsening in the case of Alzheimer’s disease, among other diseases, has directed to the progression of cognitive estimation based on EEG. Traumatic brain injury inspection using EEG is capable of afford information about the harshness of projected conclusions since trauma may mutilate the functionality of the brain.
