Intelligent Shoes Designed for Visual Impaired People Based on Iot
Life has transformed thanks to technology, especially with the IoT movement. For people who are blind, one of the major difficulties they face is finding their way around. Assistance is always offered by other individuals who can see, however, there is a new solution in the form of smart shoes that enable blind people to walk around without any danger. These special footwears are equipped with some sort of technology that directs blind individuals and helps them bypass various objects and obstacles. This involves focusing on the design of innovative smart shoes and an active system tailored for individuals with visual impairments. The system utilizes IoT technology and comprises three ultrasonic sensors. These sensors allow the user to hear the objects that are in their way so that they can avoid them. It can measure the distance of objects and shows information about possible nearby obstacles. To enhance safety, water and flame sensors are also included. The user is alerted with a sound when an obstacle is in proximity. Information about every step the person makes is received and the direction the person is facing is always tracked to ensure they are not in danger.
