A Method for Extracting Helicopter Micro-Motion Characteristics Based on Multistatic Radar
Due to its system characteristics, multistatic radar has unique advantages in the study of the micro-Doppler effect. This paper proposes a method for extracting the micro-motion characteristics of helicopters based on bistatic radar. First, this method analyzes the micro-Doppler modulation characteristics of helicopter targets in multistatic radar and the influencing factors of micro - Doppler frequency through an integral model. Then, the number of helicopter rotor blades and the rotational speed are estimated through the flash time - delay between two receivers. Finally, the maximum micro-Doppler frequency is estimated from the spectrogram, and thus the blade length of the target is estimated. The simulation results verify the rationality of the micro-motion model and the effectiveness of the feature extraction method in this paper.
