The Impact of Cloud Computing Technologies on Advancing Digital Literacy for Rural Revitalization in the Digital Economy

This study discusses the effects of cloud computing technologies on enhancing digital literacy for the development of rural areas in the new digital business environment. The specific objectives are as follows: The impact of cloud-based educational programmes, the frequency of use of cloud technology, and government support for digital skill development. In this study, data acquisition was done through questionnaire administration, from 280 participants from rural areas. Multiple regression analysis found that cloud-based educational programmes ($\beta=0.416$, $\mathrm{p}\lt 0.001$) were the strongest predictor of improving digital skills, with government support ($\beta=0.304, \mathrm{p}\lt 0.001$) and use frequency ($\beta=0.169, \mathrm{p}= 0.004$) being also significant. The research highlights the need to increase funding for education, telecentres supportive policies and usage to reduce the digital divide and support rural people.
