Revolutionizing Recruitment with AI: Empirical Insights into Benefits and Challenges
As we transition from Industry 4.0 to Industry 5.0, the human element remains fundamental to technological innovation. This shift underscores the importance of optimizing recruitment processes through artificial intelligence, particularly in addressing challenges such as the Great Resignation. Empirical data collected via a questionnaire was integrated with a narrative literature analysis, revealing diverse perspectives on the advantages and challenges of AI in recruitment. A critical analysis using a SWOT framework highlighted key opportunities and strengths, such as efficiency, speed, accuracy, and fairness, while also identifying threats and weaknesses, including impersonal experiences, algorithmic biases, and data privacy issues. Additionally, perceptions of AI integration in recruitment were analyzed, and a proposed approach for achieving this integration was discussed.
