Analyzing the Ux Impact of Pin Functionality and Calendar Enhancement on Online Lms
The Online Learning Management System (LMS) is a widely accepted medium globally. In this era of technology, various LMS platforms offer a range of functions to enhance the effectiveness of the educational experience, as well as communication between educators and students. Navigating the LMS and accessing course resources quickly and smoothly is crucial to a student's college experience. When this is not possible, prolonged navigation times can increase frustration and stress among users. In this paper, we aim to analyze the impact of pin functionality and enhanced calendar events on user experience (UX), particularly from the perspectives of time and usability. We selected Moodle as our LMS and developed a componentbased design incorporating pin functionality and an integrated calendar of events. A pilot study was conducted to assess the UX, and the results indicated an overall improvement in UX with these modified Moodle designs.
