Numerical Simulation and Analysis for Shapedcharge Formation Based on Uma and Mpi-3 Rma
Fracturing with a Shaped-Charge is often used in the oil exploration process. Therefore, it is necessary to study the molding process of Shaped-Charge Formation. Typical characteristics of numerical calculation for Shaped-Charge Formation problems are large computational scale, it is difficult using serial computing on a single computer to complete calculation. Presently, parallel computing based on clusters is more suitable for dealing with the problem. In this paper, a distributed parallel architecture involving a shared memory parallel strategy is developed to deal with the problem of high communication consumption and low parallel efficiency for the computing on 3D Shaped-Charge Formation problems. In this strategy, a uniform memory access (UMA) architecture is built and a shared memory window on the distributed message passing interface (MPI-3) is created, and a complete computing system is constructed on the Linux platform for the Eulerian three-dimensional multi-material parallel hydrocode PMMIC-3D[1]. Then, the numerical simulation using the above parallel computational strategy of different structural parameters for Shaped-Charge Formation is performed in this work. Furthermore, numerical simulations with different structural parameters are performed, the influencing factors in the process of Shaped-Charge Formation are compared and analyzed in this paper, which provide data support for intelligent design and massively parallel computational strategies for Shaped-Charge Formation.
