Camera-Based Human Heart Rate Measurement Method
Heart rate is a crucial physiological indicator of the human body. With the advancement of non-contact physiological signal monitoring technologies, camera-based pulse wave measurement methods have gained significant attention. This study proposes a novel approach to measuring human pulse waves using a camera-based technique. By leveraging photoplethysmography (PPG) signal extraction, the method enables non-contact heart rate monitoring. This paper presents the experimental methodology, data processing workflow, and signal analysis techniques, and discusses its potential applications in wearable health monitoring, remote healthcare, and affective computing.
