VirtuLernia: An Interactive Learning Platform using Artificial Intelligence and Augmented Reality
Many students face a gap between conceptual understanding and academic performance; some grasp concepts but struggle to score well, while others excel in exams without truly comprehending the subject matter. This research presents a technology-driven solution to bridge this gap by integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Augmented Reality (AR) into the learning process. The system employs the Gemini API for automated note generation, converting complex textual content into structured and accessible summaries tailored to different learning preferences. Additionally, an AI-powered chatbot, developed using IBM Cloud Watson Assistant, provides interactive support, enabling students to clarify doubts and reinforce their learning through guided conversations. To enhance conceptual understanding, Unity-based AR animations offer immersive visualizations of abstract topics, making them easier to grasp. By combining textual, visual, and interactive learning elements, this framework not only improves comprehension but also enhances retention and academic performance. The system is designed to be accessible across AR-compatible devices, offering a multi-sensory approach to education that fosters deeper engagement and more effective learning outcomes.
