A Real-Time Monitoring System for User Attentivity on e-learning platforms
As digital education evolves rapidly, ensuring sustained student engagement remains a significant challenge for effective learning. Traditional e-learning platforms lack real-time mechanisms to monitor and enhance student attentiveness, leading to reduced comprehension and participation. To address this issue, this paper presents a novel Attention Monitoring System (AMS) designed specifically for online learning environments. The AMS integrates advanced technologies, including face recognition, eye tracking, and user interaction behavior analysis, to dynamically assess and respond to fluctuations in student attention. By detecting signs of disengagement in real time, the system provides adaptive feedback to help learners stay focused. Experimental results demonstrate that AMS significantly improves student attentiveness and interaction, making online education more effective and engaging.
