Development of a Raspberry Pi-Based Quadruped Robot with Real-Time Monitoring
Versatile and low-cost four-legged robots have been developed to solve surveillance problems in harsh environments. This compact platform utilises the computing power of Raspberry Pi 4 to control the motion of the PCA9685 servo driver, enabling 12 servo motors to perform multiple coordinations. The design provides stable movement in different directions with the help of infrared sensors to detect disturbances and Pi cameras for live videos. With capabilities such as remote monitoring and environmental awareness, the robot provides practicality and flexibility to monitor and explore small quantities, with resources for future upgrades such as advanced sensors or integrated intelligence.
