Smart Housing Hub: A Web-Based Platform for Seamless Rental Solutions

Housing rentals are a fundamental aspect of society, yet finding suitable accommodation in urban areas remains challenging, especially through traditional in-person searches. Similarly, landlords often struggle to find tenants, leading to financial losses when relying solely on physical advertisements. In this context, a centralized online platform can provide an effective solution. This paper explores a web-based platform designed to connect homeowners and renters, ensuring mutual benefits. Core modules will be connected with features that enable renting and selling real estate items online and other shopping mall services linked to them. The platform designed is a microservices architecture with a clear front end and back-end separation to increase development efficiency and reduce maintenance overhead. In addition, it connects Redis for optimizations as well as current authentication and authorization protocols for security. Similarly, the work discusses the technology challenges associated with building and implementing systems, such as solutions through event-driven architectures and API gateways.
