Research on Topological Layout Algorithm of Mine Ventilation Network Diagram
To promote the development of mine ventilation network diagram drawing toward automation, informatization, and intelligence, and to address the issues of labor intensity and inflexibility in modifications inherent in traditional hand-drawn methods—as well as the deficiencies in node connection and graphical structure layout in current approaches—we propose a topological layout method based on the Squeeze Longest PathHybrid Sparrow Search Algorithm (SLP-HSSA). Firstly, with the objectives of minimizing the node layering height and the total hierarchical differences, a multi-objective integer programming model is established. The SLP is employed to optimize the node layering and thereby determine the vertical layout of the nodes. Next, based on the node layering, a hierarchical graph permutation optimization model is formulated with the objective of minimizing the number of topological intersections in the ventilation network. The HSSA is then applied to optimize the node ordering, which determines the horizontal layout within each layer. Finally, the feasibility of the proposed method is validated using actual mine ventilation network topological data and is compared with other methods. The results indicate that the SLPHSSA achieves improvements of 20%, 12.2%, 51.6%, and 65.2% in terms of the number of long edges, the number of dummy nodes, the number of topological intersections, and the number of geometric intersections, respectively. This leads to clearer node connection relationships and a more aesthetically pleasing overall structure. The study provides a theoretical foundation and technical support for the development of an automatic drawing system for mine ventilation network diagrams.
