A Robust DPCC and Inductance Identification Method for SPMSM Based on Incremental Model and Current Error Compensation

Conventional deadbeat predictive current control (DPCC) has been widely recognized as a highly effective control method for permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs), owing to its notable advantages including rapid transient response characteristics, easy implementation and high performance. However, the control performance of DPCC significantly deteriorates under parameter mismatcheses. To solve this critical problem, a robust incremental DPCC based on current error compensators is proposed. First, the incremental DPCC model is used to reduce the impact of motor flux linkage mismatch on the motor control system, and then the influence of inductance mismatch on the control performance of the motor is reduced by constructing the d-</i> and q-</i>axis current error compensators and the inductance disturbance terms. Furthermore, the inductance value of the motor is identified by the inductance disturbance term. Finally, the proposed method is experimentally demonstrated with a 3.8 kW motor.
