Design and verification of water curtain interference system based on double-row staggered compound
Abstract With the development of modern infrared guided weapons, the concealment of ships on the surface of the water is more and more strict. In order to reduce the probability of the target being detected by infrared detection equipment, a ship-borne multispectral water curtain jamming technique is proposed. The Mie scattering technology model is established based on MATLAB. When electromagnetic waves are used to pass through the water curtain, due to different wavelengths, as well as the different size, shape and surface roughness of the water curtain particles, when electromagnetic waves pass through the water curtain, they produce refraction, reflection, absorption and transmission, thus reducing the probability of military targets being found and identified. A prototype of a water curtain interference system based on a double-row staggered compound is designed and verified by experiments. The verification results show that both the infrared sensor and the visible light sensor have achieved a better shielding effect, and the shielding efficiency is better than 71%. The multispectral water curtain jamming system has certain effectiveness for the infrared stealth characteristics of ships.
