Soft and direct virtual inertia control method of low-voltage distribution network based on consistency algorithm

Abstract Distributed power supply, energy storage devices and multi-source loads of low-voltage distribution networks show non-normal distribution, and the coordinated control among multi-agents is very difficult, resulting in virtual inertia characteristic redundancy, high energy consumption and overdrive in low-voltage distribution networks. Therefore, a flexible and direct virtual inertia control method based on a consistency algorithm is proposed for low-voltage distribution networks. The collected voltage signal is denoised by continuous Fourier transform, and the least square matrix algorithm is introduced to extract the virtual inertia component of the signal and obtain the virtual inertia characteristics of the flexible HVDC. Based on the consistency algorithm, the flexible and direct virtual inertia control model of low-voltage distribution networks is constructed to constrain the redundant virtual inertia characteristics. The consistency algorithm is applied to realize the common cognition and cooperative control of the system operating state through local information interaction and its own control strategy. Combined with the alternating direction multiplier method, the flexible and direct virtual inertia control scheme of low-voltage distribution networks is solved. The experimental results show that after the application of the research method, the power of the distribution network can be stabilized at more than 230 MW, the load is stabilized at about 6×104 MW, and the energy consumption and overshoot of the low-voltage distribution network are significantly lower under the application of the research method, which proves that the application effect of the research method is better.
