Research on Fishing Vessel Operation Type Recognition Based on CNN-LSTM

Marine resources are one of the important resources and play a crucial role in economic development. How to sustainably utilize marine resources is a challenge we need to face together. Accurately identifying the type of operation of fishing boats can help us effectively utilize marine resources and protect the marine environment. This study improved and optimized the classification of AIS fishing vessel operation types, which were not detailed enough or even lost. A CNN-LSTM model was built to recognize the operation types of fishing vessels through AIS trajectory data, and the accuracy and recognition efficiency were significantly improved. The results showed that the accuracy of the model reached 91.74 %, the precision was 91.70 %, the recall was <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\mathbf{9 1. 7 4 \%}$</tex>, and the F1 score was <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\mathbf{9 1. 6 9 \%}$</tex>
