Heart Diseases Prediction using Machine Learning Algorithm
Since cardiac disease is the world's leading cause of death, there exists an urgent need for accurate and efficient tools for diagnosis and prognosis. Traditional techniques for cardiac disease diagnosis face major difficulties due to the inherent complexity of the condition and its numerous potential causes. To address this challenge, the current study employs the Convolutional Neural Network algorithm, a proven machine learning technique, to develop a unique and innovative strategy for forecasting heart disease. The study makes use of an extensive dataset that includes a range of heart health-related factors, such as age, blood pressure, cholesterol, and ECG readings. Making use of the non-parametric characteristics of the CNN algorithm, the researchers examine patterns within these attributes to categorize individuals based on their risk of developing cardiac condition. In order to reduce misclassification, the CNN model is made to closely selecting an appropriate number of neighbors and employing an optimal distance metric. The preprocessing stage of the methodology involves normalizing the features and addressing any inconsistencies in the data. This work adds significantly to the area of medical diagnostics by using the algorithm of CNN to predict cardiac disease, demonstrating the method's versatility, effectiveness, and efficiency. The results of this study might significantly influence the creation of scalable, real-time, non-invasive diagnostic tools that allow prompt interventions and individualized treatment, hopefully improving outcomes for patients and lowering the prevalence of heart disease worldwide.
