Research on Energy Control Strategies for a Type Ship Microgrid

To address the issue of poor power distribution performance in modern intelligent ships using traditional single AC or DC microgrids, a hybrid AC/DC microgrid structure suitable for ships is proposed. First, the structures and limitations of three classic hybrid grid structures are summarized, and a new topology is introduced. Then, power distribution strategies for the system under different operating conditions, such as sailing, entering and leaving ports, and anchoring, are formulated. Finally, simulations are conducted to validate the proposed structure under various conditions. The research results show that the proposed shipboard microgrid topology demonstrates good voltage stability, power scheduling capability, and energy management effectiveness across all operating conditions.
