Intelligent Dissolved Oxygen Monitoring System for Aquaculture Based on Multi-Sensor Fusion and Edge Computing
Intelligent management of aquaculture is the key to improving aquaculture efficiency and resource utilization. Traditional water quality monitoring systems have poor real-time performance, delayed response to oxygenation control, and weak data analysis capabilities, making it difficult to respond to complex and changing aquaculture environments in real time. In this paper, we propose an IoT-based smart aquaculture system (ISAS). It collects parameters such as water temperature, dissolved oxygen, flow, and pressure through multiple sensors, integrates key technologies such as edge computing and fuzzy proportional-integral-derivative (fuzzy PID), and quickly and automatically adjusts the dissolved oxygen in the water body according to changes in water quality. At the same time, users can monitor the water quality in real time through a mobile phone APP. The experimental results show that the system effectively improves the stability of dissolved oxygen in the water body and enhances the level of aquaculture automation.
