ICE Over the Years - A Keyword Analysis
This paper presents a longitudinal keyword analysis of the ICE IEEE/ITMC conference proceedings from 2011 to 2024 to investigate how research priorities in engineering, technology, and innovation have evolved over time. Through an adapted systematic literature review, frequently occurring keywords were extracted and analyzed to identify dominant and emerging themes. The study focuses on the top 10 keywords to maintain clarity and analytical depth amid a broad dataset. Findings point to a growing emphasis on digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and sustainability, while also highlighting the consistent relevance of innovation and IoT. Shifts in keyword usage reflect broader technological and societal trends, as well as changing academic and industry interests. This analysis offers a strategic overview of the evolving research landscape, providing insights that can inform future scholarly work and policy development within the ICE community.
