Computer-Assisted Creation of Employment Advertisements for the Development of Caregiver Community

The shortage of nursing and care staff is a major challenge for the German care sector. Care groups are aware that they need effective solutions to attract highly qualified professionals. However, some possible approaches, such as high salaries or advertising campaigns, are hardly affordable and financially viable, especially for small and medium-sized care groups. This study proposes a novel approach to support care groups in creating compelling employment advertisements with targeted content and design. It incorporates top domain-relevant terms from existing employment advertisements and uses large language models (LLMs) and semantic search to recommend alternative terms and phrases. By analysing employment advertisements, the approach ensures completeness and consistency in tone and content. It enables companies to efficiently create tailored employment advertisements and increase their outreach to potential caregivers across different job platforms. To this end, we use a sample use case to illustrate the approach and discuss the next steps.
