Research and Development of Rotating Structure Analysis Module Based on SiPESC.FEMS

Based on the open structure finite element analysis software SiPESC. FEMS, this paper develops a computational analysis module for numerical simulation and analysis of rotor-bearing system. The module covers various finite element analysis functions, such as critical speed analysis, unbalance response analysis and transient analysis of rotor bearing system, and supports the modeling of various inertial elements such as elastic shafts, impellers in rotating machinery and the bearings. Utilizing the scalability of the software architecture of SiPESC platform, efficient and flexible computation are achieved. Through the numerical examples of the rotor bearing structure, comparative analysis with the commercial finite element software ANSYS is performed, which verifies that the developed module of the rotor bearing calculations is quite accurate and applicable. It provides technical support for practical problem solving of complex rotating mechanical structures.
