Artificial Intelligence to Improve Security of Cloud Networks
Cloud networks are important to businesses and individuals, and thus, their security is becoming an issue of increasing concern. Conventional security mechanisms fail to effectively counter dynamic cyber threats, but AI can be the real-time adaptive solution to improve protection. This study analyses the role of AI in improving cloud network security with tests conducted on various AI models with Random Forest, Support Vector Machine, and deep learning models with CNN and RNN, among others. These experiments showed that both CNN and RNN outperform the traditional approaches in terms of higher accuracy and lower false positives with faster responses, and only minimal impact on system performance; therefore, they are promising avenues for AI improvement of cloud security.
