An Industrial Application Software Testing Framework Using Explanatory Intelligence Based on Task Logic
Industrial application software (IAS) must provide different functions depending on the user and the domain served, thus the systematic and comprehensive testing of the software usually brings considerable challenges. Although there are many solutions for the subtleties of software function and software reliability testing in the literature, it is difficult to form a universal test solution for IAS, and almost no paradigm of industrial application software testing (IAST) is found to construct based on task logic structure. In this paper, we use task logic-based explanatory intelligence to construct a framework of IAST to help us complete the system testing of different functional IAS families. We use fine-grained task logic diagram to represent the functional task transfer relationship of customer requirements for IAS, and express the needs of software reliability and test efficiency with stringent explanatory intelligence. We use this framework to test ten sets of IAS, and the results show that the proposed framework has strong potential in IAST.
