Synthesis Mechanism and Properties of N,N′-Hexamethylene Bis-[(o-Cresolyl)carbamate]

The article presents the results of a study of the synthesis, possible mechanism and physicochemical properties of N,N'-hexamethylene bis-[(o-cresolyl)- carbamate], that is, MEE-1. In the article, the authors provide a summary table of the physical and chemical properties of the MEE-1 substance along with the results determined by modern spectral research methods. The achievement of the authors is that their method for the synthesis of bis-carbamate is resource- and energy-saving, environmentally friendly, waste-free, and the product is obtained with high productivity.
