Abu al-Layth al-Samarqandi and His Educational Guidance: The Rights of The Wife and Raising The Child
This study stems from the urgent need to understand family problems, especially in societies where the wife's rights are violated, and the profound negative effects this has on child upbringing and family stability. Hence, the study seeks to address these issues through the educational guidance provided by Imam Abu al-Layth al-Samarqandi, which relies on the texts of the Holy Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet. He emphasizes the importance of justice in marital relationships and the necessity of raising children with faith-based and behavioral values, which are essential for the well-being of society. In his guidance, the Imam demonstrated an advanced educational vision, expressing his awareness of the dimensions of family life, his concern for the wife's rights in both psychological and material aspects, and his emphasis on the importance of setting a good example in raising children. The study also demonstrates that his approaches remain applicable in our contemporary reality, given their precise understanding of the nature of the human psyche and its impact on building a stable Muslim family.
