Gambaran Sarana Dan Prasarana Penyimpanan Sediaan Farmasi di Logistik Farmasi RSUD M. Natsir Solok Tahun 2025
Proper storage of pharmaceutical preparations requires facilities and infrastructure that meet standards to ensure the quality, safety, and availability of drugs. Storage activities that do not comply with regulations have the potential to reduce the quality of pharmaceutical preparations and disrupt the smoothness of health services. This study aims to evaluate the pharmaceutical logistics system, especially storage facilities, at M. Natsir Solok Regional General Hospital in 2025. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with 15 logistics officers as respondents. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and documentation, then analyzed using descriptive statistics to describe the actual conditions. The results of the study indicate that the storage facilities and infrastructure in the pharmaceutical logistics installation of M. Natsir Solok Regional General Hospital do not fully meet the standards stipulated in the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 40 of 2022 concerning Pharmaceutical Service Standards in Hospitals. One of the main findings is the limited storage space, where only two rooms are available that are used simultaneously for oral and injectable drug preparations. This condition does not comply with standards that require storage separation based on dosage form, product stability, and certain special requirements. Furthermore, supporting storage facilities such as shelves, special refrigerators, and temperature control systems are inadequate. These limitations impact the efficiency of the logistics process, increase the risk of drug quality degradation due to less-than-ideal environmental conditions, and lead to drug accumulation in warehouses and pharmaceutical facilities. This study is expected to provide a factual overview of pharmaceutical storage conditions at M. Natsir Solok Regional General Hospital and serve as a basis for hospital management in planning storage infrastructure improvements. Improvements in storage facilities are essential to ensure optimal drug quality, safety, and availability, thus enabling more effective and high-quality health services to the public.
