Current situation and future of image recognition and processing technology

In order to deeply study the development trends of image recognition and processing technology in the past five years and help enterprises accurately grasp the future trend of the industry, this paper carried out targeted research. The research focuses on the current status and future development trends of the technology, with Web of Science serving as the data source for literature searches, screening, and visualization analysis. Research shows that a deep pattern of academic exchanges and cooperation has been formed in the field of image recognition and processing, and a diversified cooperation network led by China and the United States has been established. Attention mechanism, small object detection and data augmentation have been identified as the direction of continuous outbreak in the future. This research enriches the related research content of image recognition and processing technology, provides a solid theoretical support for the technological innovation and application practice of enterprises in this field, and enriches the existing academic literature.
