Comprehensive property engineering of YGdAP:Ce scintillation crystals by optimizing the Y/Gd ratio
High-quality Y 1− x Gd x AlO 3 :0.5%Ce ( x = 0–1) single crystals are grown by the Czochralski method, and the tailored Y 0.5 Gd 0.5 AlO 3 :0.5%Ce exhibits the best comprehensive performance for γ-ray detection.
