Efficacy of Chemonucleolysis with Condoliase for Lumbar Disc Herniation in Elderly Patients Over 70 Years of Age
Chemonucleolysis with condoliase is effective in treating LDH in patients over 70 years of age, affording outcomes comparable to those in younger patients. Despite disc degeneration, herniation reduction was observed accompanied by a decrease in disc height. Condoliase offers a less invasive alternative for treating elderly patients with multiple comorbidities. Careful patient selection is critical for ensuring optimal clinical results.
