Evaluación de Cumplimiento de Buenas Prácticas Ambientales del Recurso Hídrico en la Unidad Educativa Miguel de Unamuno

This project focuses on examining the implementation of appropriate good environmental practices related to water use at the Miguel de Unamuno Educational Unit (Unidad Educativa Miguel de Unamuno) in response to the growing global water crisis and the inadequate management of this resource in Ecuador. A large portion of the population uses contaminated water, which affects public health and increases poverty. Despite regulations established by the Ministry of Education, a manual of good environmental practices has been effectively implemented at the institution. The purpose of our work is to evaluate the application of these practices, identify areas for improvement, and propose educational measures to promote responsible water use. To this end, interviews and data analysis will be conducted to assess the knowledge and behavior of students and teachers regarding the sustainable use of water resources. This project seeks to motivate school members about efficient water management and propose actions that contribute to environmental sustainability.
